University
  • KL University is the first university in the whole world adopted NI mydaq (highest in quantity) as a student portable laboratory to empower hands-on learning process.
  • KLU emerged in the Top 50 participating institutions in IBM's TGMC 2013 competition
  • KLU Business School (KLUBS) was ranked at 10th position among the Top 50 nation wide Business Schools by Dainik Bhaskar, the largest Hindi Daily in India.
  • KLU was awarded The Engineering Educators Award By The University of Bradford,U.K. and Education Matters in 2014.


Faculty
  • Dr. K. Rama Krishna, Dean-Academics has represented K L University in the '2nd World Education Leaders Forum-2014' held at South Korea- Busan
  • Prof. Dodla Venkata Bhaskar Rao has been awarded Prestigious Indian Meteorological Society Fellowship
  • Seven UGC Research Awards for 2013-15 and 2014-16 (Out of 100 given by UGC, Nation Wide annually)


Students
  • KLU Student V.Jyothi Surekha won the individual women's compound gold at the Asia Cup Stage II archery tournament in Bangkok.
  • KLU Student V.Jyothi Surekha CSE II year, won gold medal in Sr. National Archery Championship 2014-15 held at New Delhi.
  • Won Three Gold Medals, One Silver medal and One Bronze Medal in Archery at International Asian Grand Prix held during 10th to 15th March 2014, at Bangkok.
  • KLU Student V. Jyothi Surekha Secured Bronze Medal in Archery Compound Women Team, 17th Asian Games held at South Korea (2014-15).
  • KLU Student V. Jyothi Surekha was Selected for Indian Women Archery team for the world cup 2014 held at HYD on 3-6 & 10-13 July 2014.
  • Mr. N.V.V.Krishna Chaitanya secured all India 29th Rank in the Altair Optimization Contest 2014 (AOC2014: India).
  • Four students of KL University got All India Ranks in National Creativity Aptitude Test (NCAT) held at IIT Delhi.
  • Two of our CSE students secured II prize in the CSI-3rd National Project Contest on All India basis.
  • Miss. Mounika Penugonda from Electronics & Communication Engineering and Mr. Sarang Ardhapurkar a passed out student of Computer Science & Engineering bagged Best Student Award and Best Student Project Award respectively for their exemplary performance in Academics in the last 3 years.
  • Kum. Vennam Jyothi Surekha secured Silver Medal in All India Inter University Archery tournament-2014 organized by Punjab University, Chandigarh
