President Addressing the IAS Aspirants
Er. Koneru Satyanarayana garu, President, KLEF addressed the batch of selected students of the IAS Academy who visited New Delhi on their first Study Tour. The President, in his maiden address mainly advised the students to realise the dignity of labour by immediately starting to serve at their homes. "Charity begins at home, like wise your spirit of serving should start from your home". He said that one can nourish Leadership through selfless services. He narrated various styles of Leadership and their requisites. He stressed the importance of being Courageous and to maintain good character for success in life. He narrated and advised them to embrace and practice several good Qualities, to become good leaders. Shri Raja Harin, Vice-President, KLEF, Dr. L S S Reddy, Vice-Chancellor and the Registrar Prof. T. Study Tour of New Delhi
KLU IAS ACADEMY planned a tour of the best educational institutions in India and organized a 1-week study tour of new Delhi, a hub of topnotch educational practices.
The tour treated off with an eventual visit to American Embassy where they could meet with the first secretary and cultural secretary who gave them extensive information on modalities of abroad .They were pleasured to note the initiative and enthusiasm enriched by our students and remarked that KLU happen to be the only institution to undertake such a visit.
Next the students visited the New Zealand High commission; the Graham Morton, the high commission in his personal talk highlighted the warm relationship between the two nations. A visitor's paradise, New Zealand offers all that goes to attract prospective businessmen, academics as well as scholars the esteemed hosts were hospitality personified and our students should count themselves lucky to be present on such a memorable occasion.
The students then proceeded to Rau's IAS STUDY CIRCLE, New Delhi and went round observing the campus facilities. Prof V.P. Guptaji, Managing Director Addressed the scholars briefed them given salient factors that go into building their careers. Like all inspiring speeches, Mr. Guptajee's emy honored the Guptajee with a shawl and memento. The last phase of this hectic study tour comprised a training session with Vajiram and Ravi institution for IAS examinations. The enthusiastic students of KLU were complemented by prof. Ravindran, Director of VRI, after an interesting and probing question hour.
They went round a cultural tour of New Delhi and surrounding places of historical and cultural importance like (kulib Qutub) minar, Taj Mahal, Red Fort, and India Gate.
Inaguration of the APPSC Courses
IAS Academy got inaugurated the courses of Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission on the 30th December 2014. The Chief-guest on this occasion was Shri K. S Lakshmana Rao, MLC. The opening Ceremony was presided over by Shri Raja Harin, Vice-President KLEF and Chairman of IAS Academy. The Chief-guest, while inaugurating the AP PSC Courses, in the beginning explained the methods to be followed and the materials required to appear for AP PSC's competitions. The Chief-guest Quoting a few examples of Questions and answers; amused and entertained the gathering at the Peacock Hall. Dr. L S S Reddy, Vice-Chancellor, KLU in his address advised the students to seek these jobs which are attractive, dignified and authoritative. Dr. A. Anand Kumar, Principal, K L College of Engineering, appreciated the venture of the IAS Academy for branching out to different Courses. He blessed the students gathered at the Peacock Hall. Dr. R. Veera Naraina, Director, Vivekananda Education Society, Tenali was also present as a guest of honour on this occasion.
Shri Raj Harin in his presidential address explained about the large number of vacancies available in newly constituted Andhra Pradesh. You will be serving your State, your districts and your people with dignity, honour and with guaranteed high perks and facilities. Government jobs are not like those; just hired and fired. Their security, authority and respectability are unique, and they are couched with promotions from time to time
