• Industrial visit to "Doordarshan High Power Transmitter and DD Studio", Kondapalli was organized by Dept of ECE for all III year Students on 20th, 26th, 27th March 2015
Students Achievements
1. 55 students from 2nd and 3rd year of ECE dept. attended a 2 day workshop on sensors organized by ESIC(Engineering Staff College of India),Hyderabad, on the eve of ENGINEER'S DAY, celebrated on 15th September- 2014
2. IIT – Roorkee in Association with revert technology & Fin land Labs , conducted Appfluxus (Android championship) on March 21st and 22nd , 2014-15. The students were asked to code Android applications with eclipse Java software. Few of ECE II yr students bagged 2nd and 3rd Prizes in the event.

Faculty Achievements
1. Dr MSG Prasad, Alternate HOD-ECE, was invited to act as a Judge for Tech Fest which was conducted and organised by ECE department, SIR CR REDDY COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING, Eluru on 4th March-2015.
2. Dr MSG Prasad, Alternate HOD-ECE, was invited to act as Judge for Paper Presentation in " PERCEPTIONS-15", a national level Technical symposium which was conducted and organised by ECE department, NIMRA institute of science and Technology, on 7th March-2015.
3. Two faculty members of ECE department received UGC Research awards for the year(s) 2014-16
4. UGC Research Award for the year 2014-16 to Dr. GHALI VENKATA SUBBARAO, Department of Infrared imaging
5. UGC Research Award for the year 2014-16 to Dr. V RATNAM DEVANABOYINA, Department of Navigation Electronics.
6. Mr. B. T. P. Madhav, Registration No.10304001, scholar of ECE dept completed his Ph.D. synopsis - Open Talk on thesis titled "Substrate Permittivity Effects on the Performance of Compact and Wideband Antennas" on 29th October, 2014.
7. Ms. Govardhani Immadi, Register No.12304013, scholar of ECE department, completed her Ph.D. synopsis - open talk on her thesis titled "Experimental Studies on Ku Band down link Satellite Signal Propagation Impairments" on 5th February-15.
Faculty Outreach
1. Mr. M. Sridhar, Associate Professor, Dept of ECE had participated in an International Conference on Electronics and Communication Systems(ICECS'14) as a presenter in Karpagam college of engineering Dr. V Rajesh, Professor, ECE department, was nominated as the BOS member of ECE dept by the Academic council of Swarnandhra College Of Engineering & Technology, Narsapur.
2. Ms.K.Sony, Ms.D.Ujwala, Mr.L.Surendra have attended a Workshop on "Research methodologies in Electromagnetics" in VasiReddy Venkatadri Institute of Technology, Nambur 6th Jan 2014

5. Syed Shameem, GRK.Prasad, N.Siddiah had attended a one day Symposium on MEMS Based Sensors & Actuators in IIT-Hyderabad on 13th-March-2014.
6. G.V.Ganesh, Assistant Professor,dept of ECE had attended an Introductory workshop on ''Nanofabrication Technologies'', conducted in IISC, Bangalore in May from 21st to 23rd

Mr. V Subbareddy, Assitant professor, dept of ECE has attended a 3-day workshop on "Advances in Antenna Design with Applications & Simulation with HFSS software" during 24th -26th July-2014, organized by MTT/AP/EMC Soceity Joint Chapter IEEE Hyderabad Section in association with M/s.Ansof Technologies-Bangalore & Department of E.C.E, Marusri Engineering College.
8. Mr. K.Rajendra Prasad, Assitan t Professor, Dept of ECE participated in a "Two level workshop on "Signal Processing Communiations on 25th and 26th July-2014, organized by Dept of ECE of Baptla Engineering College, Baptla.
9. Mr. G V Ganesh, Assistant Professor, delivered an orientation lecture on "Nano fabrication technologies" on 26th july-2014.
10. Mr. ALGN Aditya, Research scholar, Dept of ECE had attended a seminar on MATLAB & SIMULINK for Engineering Education on 11th August-2014, conducted by MATHWORKS INDIA PVT. LTD.
