1. Mr.P. Sai Kiran, Associate Professor of Computer Science and Engineering was awarded Ph.D in Computer Science and Engineering for the thesis entitled "Medium Access Control Protocol for Wireless Ad Hoc Networks using Directional Antennas" from JNTU Hyderabad on 16th October 2014.
2. Mr. K. Rajasekhar, Associate Professor of Computer Science and Engineering was awarded Ph.D in Computer Science and Engineering for his thesis on Security from Acharya Nagarjuna University on 15th November 2014.
3. Dr.K.Rajasekhar, Associate Professor of Department of CSE received IBM Drona Award in an event held at IBM Bangalore in October 2014.
4. Sk.Riaz attended a Workshop on "Wireless Network Simulation and Protocol Development using network Simulator" during 6th to 8th March 2014 at M.S.Ramaiah School of Advanced Studies organized by Igniting Minds.
5. Sk.Riaz attended a Workshop on "Network simulator-2" during 21st to 23rd March 2014 at VRSE College organized by Dept. of CSE, VRSEC.

Devarakonda Aruna Kumari, Research Scholar, Koneru Lakshmaiah Education Foundation (K L University), Registered No. 10303010 under the guidance of Dr. K.Rajasekhara Rao was awarded Degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science and Engineering for the Ph.D. thesis entitled "privacy Preserving Data Mining" on 13 June 2014.

Nari Niyogin Award - 2015
Ms.Nikitha Anumolu was presented Nari Niyogin Award-2015 by s.p.e.w(Society for protection and Empowerment for women) on the occasion of International Women's Day 8th March,2015.
Govt of Puducherry award
Ms.Anumolu Nikitha awarded consolation prize by Govt. of Puducherry, Department of Tourism for in the age group 16 to 20 years (female) in the Yogasana Competition conducted in the 21st International Yoga Festival held from 04.01.2015 to 07.01.2015 at puducherry. She appreciated by KLU Women's forum on the eve of International Women's Day Celebrations(7th March,2015) for her outstanding performance in 21st International Yoga Competitions conducted by the Department of Tourism, Govt. of Puducherry.
