Dr. M. Siva Ganga Prasad is a Professor and Alternate Head of the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering. He obtained his B. Tech (ECE) from Osmania University in the year 1998. M. Tech with specialization in VLSI in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Anna University, Chennai in the Year 2004. In 2013 he completed his Ph. D in wireless Communication from JNTUK University, Kakinada.

In 1999 he joined as a Quality Control Engineer in ECIL, Hyderabad. From 2000 April to 2002 he worked as a Quality Control Engineer in VEPZ (Visaka Export Processing Zone), Visakhapatnam. In 2004 he joined as an Assistant Professor in NIMRA College of Engineering Vijayawada. In 2005 he joined as an Assistant Professor in K L College of Engineering, Vijayawada. From the last 16 years he was associated and involved in teaching and research in the areas of Wireless Communication, Antennas and VLSI in K L Deemed to be University. He is supervising 8 Ph. D scholars among one was awarded.

At K L Deemed to be University he has held in many administrative positions in ECE Department. He published 62 papers in National and International Journals and various conferences. He acted as a chair for various conferences and acted as a chief guest for various events as well. He is also a member of various technical organizations like IEEE, IETE, ISTE, IAENG. In 2007 the institute honored him for completion of sponsored research project from DLRL firsrt of its kind of KLCE. He received a best teacher award from K L Deemed to be University in the two consecutive years 2012 and 2013. He received the best outstanding scientists award in the year 2020 from Elsevier.
