Prof. Dodla Venkata Bhaskar Rao has been awarded Prestigious Indian Meteorological Society Fellowship

Prof. Dodla Venkata Bhaskar Rao, Professor and Director, Centre for Atmospheric Science, K L Deemed to be University has been awarded the prestigious Indian Meteorological Society (IMS) Fellowship and the same was conferred on him by Dr. Sailesh Naik, Secretary, Ministry of Earth Sciences, Govt. of India on 21st Feb 2014 at the inaugural function of INROMET-2014 at Chennai.

IMS citation reads as "In recognition of his outstanding contribution to the education and research in atmospheric modelling for weather prediction, the Indian Meteorological Society is privileged to confer upon Dodla.Venkata Baskar Rao - The Fellowship of Indian Meteorological Society".

Prof. D V B Rao is currently organising research on climate and weather applications with societal impacts such as air quality, agriculture and urban hydrology at K L Deemed to be University.
