1st All India Inter-University Target Ball Tournament for Women-2020, held during 04-03-2020 to 06-03-2020 at K L Deemed to be University.
The chief guest for the inaugural function Smt. K Jhansi Lakshmi, Deputy Collector, Chief Executive Officer, STEP, District Youth Welfare Officer, Krishna District, Government of A.P, Dr. R R L Kantam, Registrar, KLEF, Dr Habibullah Khan, Dean Students Affairs, KLEF, Dr.K Hari Kishore, Associate Dean (Sports and Games), KLEF and Dr. N Srinivas In-charge Dept of Physical Education are presided over the function.
Around 24 universities are registered from four zones (South, North, East and West). From each University team of 12 players and in total around 288 players are registered and the Prize winners are Andhra University, Vishakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh-First Place, KL Deemed to be University, Guntur, Andhra Pradesh-Second Place, Gujarat VidyaPith, Gujarat-Third Place, B S Abdur Rahman Crescent University, Chennai, Tamilnadu-Fourth Place. We have conducted this tournament on knock out basis as per the norms of the Association of Indian Universities.
