K L Deemed to be University has entered into a prestigious MOU with IBM for IBM Academic Initiative Programme to enable the students of KL University for Industry readiness and gain placements in IBM and other reputed Industries.
This objective will be realized by giving training to students and faculty of the University on various software and tools of IBM such as Information Management Software, DB2, Web sphere, Trivoli and Rational software to name a few. All the IBM software & Training material is licensed to K L Deemed to be University under IBM International Programme License Agreement (IPLA).
The training Programmes are being offered regularly to KL students through specially established IBM Center of Excellence having the state of art technology which include wide spread LAN & Internet Connectivity with 48 Mbps bandwidth. The MOU aims at developing 100 fully trained certified students per year and this number is expected to be increased. The MOU also aims at including IBM software tools for delivery of K L Deemed to be University curriculum focusing on industry and tool based teaching-learning process.
The MOU further aims at delivery of subject experts by conducting special fast track training programmes to the faculty of KL which ensure delivering & conducting certification courses to the students.
