K L university and Virginia Tech University USA have agreed to join the hands to promote courses in Environmental Engineering and Alternative Energy. In this connection ICRISAT and IISC may extend hands to organise few prototype workshops by deputing resource persons to deliver hands on experience to aspirants. Few like minded industries will be identified to channelize resources to achieve expected productivity in energy systems. K L Deemed to be University has been striving hard to set up Alternate Energy excellence center in campus. Dr Janaki Rami Reddy Alavalapati Professor & Head, Virginia Tech USA and Dr V Balaji, Director, Technology & Knowledge Management, Common wealth of learning, Vancover, Canada met Sri Koneru Satyanarayana, Chancellor Mr K L Havish, Pro-Chancellor, Dr CH Hanumanta Rao, Head Civil Engineering, Dr Siva Sankar. The meeting has been coordinated by Mr M Kishore babu, Chief coordinator International Relations. All the members have resolved to come up with mutually beneficial programs in future.
