Multi-Core Faculty Training Programme by INTEL
A faculty development program on Multi-core technologies was conducted from 06-09-2011 to 08-09-2011 by K L Deemed to be University in association with Koneru Chapter of CSI, Dept., of C.S.E and Intel Technologies Pvt. Ltd., India. Vice-chancellor, Prof. G. L. Dutta inaugurated the workshop and Dr. K. Rajasekhara Rao, A.P Student Co-ordinator, CSI & DEAN (Faculty & Student Affairs) welcomed the Intel Experts. Dr. V. Srikanth, Dr. S. Venkateswarlu, Dr S.Balaji, Mr. S. Venu Madhav and Mr. B. Ravi Babu have co-ordinated the program. Four industry experts from Intel explained the basic concepts of Multi-core processors developed by Intel and the programming methodologies for parallel computing using these Multi-core processors. The visiting of Intel experts also provided hands on experience to our faculty members from CSE, IST, ECM, EEE and ECE Departments.
