Vice Chairman, Sachin Chalapati of SPIRIT Vijayawada has coordinated with ISFiT of Norway to organise a campaign on ?Disease Profiling? in two phases. The first phase is organised two days 21st and 22nd January 2012, in which about 40 members have actively participated in gathering an extensive data comprising the whereabouts of the health and metabolic condition of about 600 homes in a village Vaddeswaram near Tadepalli.

The Questionnaire consisted of various topics which can find out the complete lifestyle and health issues of an individual. Mr. Somanth Gadde, Founder & Chairman stated that the information collected will be analysed in such a way keeping the locality and the way of water resources in mind, so that estimation can be made regarding the causes of ill health or epidemic diseases. And also a report will be sent to the district medical officers and the collector, so that some sort of measures can be taken to resolve the health issues, said Siddharth Marupeddi, President.

Localities have received the volunteers very warmly and well cooperated. There was a very positive feedback to the Organisation.

The data now collected will also be helpful in organising a mega medical camp at the same village, which is scheduled during the first week of February, thus doctors can analyse the data of a patient and medicines will be distributed free

The activity was covered in five newspapers ( The Hindu, Saakshi, Andhra Prabha, Andhra Bhoomi and Vaartha) on 23rd of January 2012.
