K L Deemed to be University Chooses Radiant Cooling for Energy Savings
K L Deemed to be University (www.kluniversity.in), a 30-year old institution, is modernizing its sylvan campus on the banks of Krishna river as it was accorded deemed university status in 2009.
As a part of this effort, a new air conditioned 1.7 lakh sft library building is planned and the university has chosen Oorja Energy to implement Radiant Cooling system in order to have significant energy savings in the operation & maintenance costs of air conditioning system.
The choice of Radiant Cooling was made based on a thorough evaluation of the technology and the benefits it offers.
Work is currently under progress and the system is expected to be commissioned by the end of this year.
