Report on Seminar on Women Rights
KL Women's Forum conducted a Seminar for the lady faculty, staff on 5th
April 2012. Following are the details of the seminar.

The program began with a welcome note by Mrs.S.V.N.L.Lalitha, Convener of KL Women's Forum and Mrs.M.Sreedevi, co-convener introduced the resource person Dr.Jayasree to the audience. Dr. Jayasree, resource person of the Seminar spoke on Women Rights. She briefed the audience about different rights the Constitution of India is providing. She told almost 90% of the Women are unaware of their rights and it is essential that every Woman must know her rights to get proper justice. She focused on Matrimonial Rights that every Woman must be aware of her married life. She has quoted many incidents to exemplify the Rights of the Women. Seminar ended with a lively interaction of lady faculty and staff with the resource person. Doubts raised by staff and faculty have been clarified. Mrs.Siva Kanchana Latha, Patron of KL Women's Forum felicitated the speaker with a shawl and presented a memento. Mrs.V.Ramadevi, President of KL Women's Forum proposed vote of thanks.
