National Instruments LabVIEW Academy School Recognition to KL
KL received National Instruments (NI) LabVIEW Academy School Recognition on 17th October, 2012 in Chennai Trade Centre, Chennai. This award was given to KL during NI Educators Day 16-17 Oct, 2012.
KL acquired LabVIEW (Laboratory Virtual Instrumentation Engineering Workbench) bundle in December 2011 consisting of specialized Hardware and Software which will cater to all the departments for advanced teaching and high-end research. In addition, KL organized, Faculty training programme for 100 members for free sponsored by NI. Also certificate course with 700 students of ECE, ECM 3/4 BTech and generated 20 lakhs during this semester. The expected outcomes are Core Engineering Jobs and also increase in Average Salary per annum. For fulfilling all these tasks, KL was recognized as LabVIEW Academy School by National Instruments Corporate, USA. Only 30 institutes in the country hold this recognition as of now.
