KL Students won First Prize at National level in CSI Project Contest.

V.Alakananda and U.Sai Chand of III B.Tech, Computer Science & Engineering won First Prize (All India basis) in 2nd CSI National Project Contest held at College of Technology and Engineering, Udaipur.

The Contest: Computer Society of India (CSI) came out with a prestigious program with the theme of  "Discover Thinking". National level project contest is being organized with the same theme since last 2 years. The contest will have 3 levels of screening namely Initial Round, Regional Level Round and National Level Round.

CSI student branches will conduct the Initial screening among their students and best 2 projects will be sent for presentation in the Regional Level Round. Shortlisted teams shall make an oral presentation and demo of the project at Regional Level. The best 2 projects selected at Regional Level Round by eminent Judge Panel will be sent for screening to the National Level Round. The Final National Level Round this year was organized by Department of Computer Science & Engineering, College of Technology and Engineering, Udaipur.

Alakananda and Sai Chand studying III B.Tech (CSE) at KL have submitted a project titled "Behavioral Biometric-Advanced Authentication System" which was selected as the best in both Initial Round and Regional Level Round held at Vignan Nirula Institute of Technology for Women on 09th March, 2013. It was also selected for First Prize in the National Level Round held at Udaipur on 16th March, 2013. The University is pleased to congratulate Alakananda and Sai Chand for their achievement.
