Silver Jubilee Celebrations for the Class of 1986-90 Organized on -3rd & 4th October 2015.
KL Alumni Relations cell has organized Alumni "Silver Jubilee Celebrations" for the class of 1986-90 on 3rd & 4th of October 2015 at University Campus & 45 Alumni (Exclusively) (Total 75 members with Families included) and few from abroad have attended the event, and all were thrilled to visit the University Campus after 25 years, and were over joyed to meet and share the old golden college days. They have also expressed that they would contribute through
Day -1
The program started with Jyothi Prajwalana "Honourable President, Vice President, Pro Vice Chancellor & Other University Dignitaries along with Alumni Coordinators and the Silver Jubilee Celebrations of 1986-90 Started with the JOSH and commenced with the following activities:
- Devotional Song By Ms. Navya (Daughter of Alumni)
- Welcome Speech by Prof A.V.Lal
- Sharing of Views and Experiences by Alumni
- Honourable President has adressed the Gathering
- A brief University Presentation was given by Dr. K. Subbarao (Explaining the Members on the Growth & Department wise improvements / Planning and Implimentations)
- Lunch
- University & Department Visits
- Games for members

Day-2
The program started with a Honours to Respected Chancellor in his chambers, The members have interacted with him on various possibilities where they wanted to involve with the University to support the Current Students" Placement assistance. Internship Assistance, Guest Lecture, Respected Chancellor has also expressed and explained them on the University Progress.
Honours to the Esteemed Members by University Diginitaries
- Respected Chancellor & Dr. Choudary have given away the mementos to the esteemed members, Earlier Prof. Jeyenendra Babu & Prof. V. Prakash has also awarded the mementos (Those who left on 3rd October 2015)
- The members were Rejenovated by having a DJ
- Sharing of experience and on discussing to have another gathering very soon.
- The Program concluded with VOTE of Thanks followed by Lunch.
Mr. VALSAN KGS Alumni from the class of 1986-90 (CANADA) has given a Guest Lecture in the Department of Civil Engineering and also participated in a meeting with Vice Chancellor / Registrar & Dean Academics and expressed few suggestions for acidic improvements.
The Event was conducted very Successfully on both the days (3rd & 4th October 2015) with the advise of Pro Vice Chancellor & Support of Departmental Coordinators and alumni Team.
