Leaders Speak Education Summit 2015 Award to KL's OBE Project

K L Deemed to be University has been chosen as this year's recipient of the Leaders Speak Education Summit Award 2015 in the Innovative Project category in Higher Education.

KL has won the Award for its engineering college KLCE's Outcomes Based Education (OBE) methodology, in implementation since 2011.

Leaders Speak Education Summit 2015 Award explores opportunities for inclusion in education sector in India.

Shri.Giriraj Singh, Government of India's Union Minister of State for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), formally presented the Award to Dr.G.Ramakrishna, who represented KL, at a glittering ceremony at the Royal Plaza in New Delhi on December 4, 2015.

Dr.G.Rama Krishna is a senior professor of CSE Department at KLCE. In the morning preceding the Awards function, the Award program organizers video recorded as Prof.Ramakrishna spoke to them about the OBE project's successful implementation at KLCE. The video clip, along with the clips of other award winners' success stories, will be sent to the Government of India's Ministry of HRD in order to urge the powerful Federal Ministry to encourage Higher Education institutions in India to replicate the successes of the award winners.
