KL Beats 2 IITs to Bag 2 CollegeSearch Students Choice Awards 2016.

Beating even some of the premier IITs, KL won two CollegeSearch Students Choice Awards 2016 in a heavily contested and students decided national level awards program facilitated by CollegeSearch.
The Awards were in the following categories:
- College with the Best Academic Infrastructure
- College with the Best Events
CollegeSearch is one of the most trusted websites that prospective students in India and outside check to seek admissions and related information about undergraduate and postgraduate colleges and universities in India.
As per an official communication from CollegeSearch, KL very narrowly missed a third award in the Best Startup Incubator category.
The Awards recognize India's best colleges across 16 categories like Best Infrastructure, Best Faculty, Strongest Alumni Network, Best Startup Incubator, Best Canteen, Most Fashionable, Best Industry Exposure, and 8 others. Over 300 colleges including some of India's top colleges participated in the race to win the Awards.
The methodology of the Awards is unique because they focus on the experiences and ratings provided by students, rather than the decisions of a panel of experts which is a common scenario with most awards programs.

KL was ranked ahead of IIT Kanpur, IIT Delhi, Manipal University, Amity University, LPU, Sharda University, VIT Vellore, Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, etc.
