National Conference on Cancer concludes at KLEF
Amrita University Dean R&D Dr. Rajasekhara Reddy said that AI tools are a part of modern technology to identify cancer cells. He was the chief guest at the National Level Trends in Epigenetics Cancer Diagnosis and Therapy Concluding Conference at KL Deemed University on 28th?August 2024 Wednesday and explained to the students how to use artificial intelligence to predict a patient's condition and how to use machine learning technology tools for diagnosis. Speaking on this occasion, he explained to the students about how to detect cancer early. Conference convener Dr. M. Janakiramaiah explained how cancer cells undergo genetic changes after entering the human body, how the living cells in a person undergo changes due to changes in diet and lifestyle. He expressed concern that humanity will have to face the biggest cancer disaster in the near future. It is impossible to prevent cancer if it is not detected at the right time. He expressed hope that cancer death rates can be significantly reduced if the causes of cancer are detected early. A large number of medical students and bio technology students attended this conference, international cancer experts and many young scientists participated online and gave their valuable messages to the students. Subsequently, various research papers were published on cancer cells. While Dr. M. Janakiramaiah acted as the convener of this conference, Dr. Praveen Kumar, Head of the Department of Biotechnology, acted as the co-convener, Koteswara Reddy and Gnana Sekharan acted as the treasurers.
