KL SAT Satellite Launch is a Success

As expected, KL SAT-1, which was designed with the faculty and students of KL Deemed University, was a success. With this, the celebrations in the varsity premises are in full swing. The chairman of the university, Mr. Koneru Satyanarayana, was present and released the satellite with his own hands. A specially made balloon made in Chennai was filled with gas so that the balloon was light enough to cross the earth's gravity and was ready to fly into Ningi.

As mentioned earlier by the researchers, KL SAT 1 flew for about an hour and a half in the air and reached an altitude of about 35 km, overcoming the Earth's gravity. After staying there for some time, the balloon filled with gas suddenly burst due to the scorching heat of the sun. As soon as the sub-planet under the Earth's gravity tries to reach the Earth quickly again, the already attached parachute is activated and controls the speed of the satellite.

It is estimated that the satellite, which is slowly reaching the earth, is likely to fall somewhere within a radius of 80 km from K L Deemed to be University. According to the signals sent by the satellite at 10:30 am today, the designer Dr. K. Sarath Kumar disclosed that it was being tracked near Sattenapalli. On this occasion, the chairman of the varsity Mr. Koneru Sathyanarayana said that launching the satellite made by his students is a historic event.

It is stated that this experiment was done with the permission of Gannavaram and Chennai Air Traffic Control. They said that they bought a supercomputer ten years ago by spending crores of rupees to study weather conditions. Recently, another four crore rupees were spent to update the super computer. He said that the research faculty of his university has been doing research on climate change for the past ten years. But because of this satellite, their research will go further. He said that the reports of the studies of his researchers are very useful for the people of the state. In the coming period, they will take steps like launching a rocket. He said that their research teachers are making efforts in that direction. On this occasion, he said that according to the information provided online by the domestic satellites, reports on the weather conditions are received up to one hour, but the satellite they have designed provides a weather report every second. He said that the weather information provided by their satellite is very useful for the people of the state.

K L Deemed to be University Secretary Mrs. Koneru Sivakanchanalatha, Vice Chairman Mr. Koneru Raja Harin, Vice Chancellor Dr. G. Pardhasaradivarma, Pro Vice Chancellors Dr. AVS. Prasad, Dr. N. Venkat Ram, Registrar Dr. K. Subbarao, Deans, Directors, Heads of all Departments were present in this program. Dr. K. Sarath Kumar, Mr. Kavya and Dr. M.
