K L Deemed to be University Hosts Fire Safety Mock Drill for SAC Students.
On November 15, 2024, K L Deemed to be University, in collaboration with the P&D Department, organized a fire safety mock drill for SAC (Student Activity Centre) students, with the participation of 150 students. The event was conducted under the expert guidance of Mangalagiri Fire Department Inspector Mr. Venkateshwara Reddy and his team.
The fire officer and his team demonstrated various techniques to handle fire emergencies, including how to manage LPG cylinder fires, prevent fire accidents in daily life, and effectively extinguish fires. Students actively participated in the session, gaining hands-on experience in safety protocols, fire prevention strategies, and rescue techniques.
The drill also conducted the esteemed presence of K L Deemed to be University Vice-Chancellor Dr. G.P.S. Varma, Pro Vice-Chancellor Dr. A.V.S. Prasad, P&D Dean Dr. V. Rajesh, Associate Deans Dr. G.R.K. Prasad, K.J. Brahma Chari, and D. Seshi Reddy, along with the University Fire Officer Mr. Y. Mouli Chand.
