K L Deemed to be University First Phase Engineering Entrance Exam Results Released.
The results of the first phase of the engineering entrance exam conducted at the national level for admission to engineering courses at the K L Deemed to be University Vijayawada and Hyderabad campuses were released by the university's Vice Chancellor Dr. Parthasaradhi Varma on Thursday. The results were released online at a press conference organized at the University Administration Office in Vijayawada on Thursday. Speaking on the occasion, he said that one lakh students appeared in the first phase of the exam conducted at the national level with the aim of encouraging meritorious students. Out of these, 80 percent of the students qualified. He said that the results can be obtained through the university website and will also be sent directly to the students. He said that students will be given fee exemption through scholarships based on the ranks and intermediate marks obtained in the KL Engineering Entrance Exam. He clarified that these scholarships will be very useful for meritorious students who want to join engineering courses. He said that the second phase of the engineering entrance exam will be conducted from February 7th to 9th. University Admissions Director Dr. J. Srinivasa Rao said that just like the entrance exam for engineering admissions, national level merit entrance exams will be conducted for admissions to degree, post-graduation and science courses. He also said that students who could not get a better rank in the first phase of engineering entrance exam can write the second phase entrance exam. Convener Dr. Ramakrishna participated.
