KL Students Celebrate Parakrama Diwas
On the occasion of Parakrama Diwas, the KL BCA NSS wing organized a quiz competition on the life of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose for students of the Zilla Parishad High School in Pedapalem, Duggirala Mandal.
K L Deemed to be University College of Science Principal Dr. Subrahmanyam highlighted that Netaji's unwavering spirit and dedication to India's freedom struggle serve as an inspiration for today's youth.
Dr. KRS. Prasad, Head of the Student Department, emphasized Netaji's role in forming the Indian National Army (INA) and his famous slogan, "Tum mujhe khoon do, main tumhe azadi doonga," which ignited the spirit of patriotism among Indians. Dr. Bhagwan, Head of the BCA Department, paid tributes to Netaji, praising his leadership and heroism.
The event was attended by faculty members Dr. GBV. Kishore, NSS Program Officer Dr. D. Usharani, Coordinator P. Suresh, and volunteers. University dignitaries, including Pro Vice Chancellors Dr. AVS. Prasad, Dr. N. Venkatram, Dr. K. Rajasekhara Rao, Registrar Dr. K. Subbarao, Student Welfare Department In-charge Dr. KRS. Prasad, Advisor Dr. Habibullah Khan, and NSS Program Coordinator Dr. P. Srikanth Reddy, also extended their support and encouragement to the participants.
