K L Deemed to be University's Free Medical Camp in Chirravur Receives Overwhelming Response.

A free medical camp organized by the National Service Scheme (NSS) of K L Deemed to be University in Chirravur, Tadepalli mandal, received an excellent response from the local community. Dr. Habibullah Khan, Student Advisor of K L Deemed to be University, urged the public to take full advantage of such initiatives conducted in the university's adopted villages.

The medical camp, held on Wednesday, was a collaborative effort between K L Deemed to be University's NSS department, Aster Ramesh Hospitals, Amaravati Eye Hospital, and Braces and Faces Dental Hospital. A range of free health screenings, including BP, sugar levels, ECG, bone health, heart conditions, and eye checkups, were conducted, and free medicines were distributed to the patients.

Dr. KRS Prasad, Head of the Student Welfare Department, highlighted the importance of preventive healthcare, emphasizing that lack of physical activity can lead to severe health issues such as obesity, high blood pressure, diabetes, cardiovascular problems, muscle weakness, and even cognitive decline. He urged the public to adopt a balanced diet, proper sleep, regular exercise, and adequate nutrition to prevent lifestyle-related diseases.

The event was graced by University Vice Chancellor Dr. G. Parthasaradhivarma, Pro Vice Chancellors Dr. AVS Prasad and Dr. N. Venkatram, and NSS Coordinator P. Srikanth Reddy. Village elders K. Srinivasa Rao and others joined in congratulating the dedicated medical professionals Dr. Deepthi, Dr. K. Sailaja, Dr. N. Venu, Dr. Phani, and Dr. Bhargav for their invaluable services.
