KL Deemed to be University Conducts Third Slot of Skill Palaver 2026–27, Promoting Industry-Oriented Project-Based Learning

Vijayawada, October 11, 2026: KL Deemed to be University's Skill Development Division successfully conducted the third slot of Skill Palaver 2026-27 from 6:00 PM on October 10 to 2:00 PM on October 11, 2026. Designed as a project-based learning initiative embedded within students' certification courses and current semester curriculum, Skill Palaver provided a platform for students to apply academic concepts to practical, industry-oriented challenges.

The third slot covered seven major domains: Machine Learning; Cloud Computing and DevOps; Embedded Systems and Internet of Things (IoT); Semiconductor and Microelectronics Engineering (VLSI); Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (CAD/CAM); Building Information Modeling (BIM); and Robotic Process Automation (RPA). Through these domains, students engaged in technical problem-solving, collaborative project development and the implementation of solutions aligned with contemporary industry requirements. As part of the Skill Palaver Hackathon, the DDCA Buildathon was conducted for First-Year B.Tech. (Honors) students under the course of Digital Design and Computer Architecture.

Across the participating domains, student teams worked on selected problem statements with guidance from project mentors and interacted with industry professionals to clarify technical requirements, refine their approaches and develop practical solutions. The project review process enabled students to demonstrate their work, receive professional feedback and assess their solutions against industry expectations.

The projects were evaluated by a distinguished panel of industry experts representing leading organisations across information technology, cloud infrastructure, data engineering, cybersecurity, semiconductor design, aerospace, architecture and automation. The expert panel comprised:

Vamsi Krishna, Lead Analyst, CGI

V. Sridhar, Senior Infrastructure Specialist, IBM
