K L Deemed to be University has organised a national seminar on recent trends in Biotechnology for orienting undergraduate students at the department and state wide on 27th & 28th, Oct 2017. Eminent speakers Dr. Raju Mukherjee (IISER, Tirupathi), Dr. Ramakrishna (CFTRI, Mysore) and Dr. Vivek Rosario focused on Dengue virus & its prevalence in South India, drug discovery for multi drug resistance mycobacterium tuberculosis.
